- Charming detached chalet - All bedrooms with en suite bath and WC - Sun-terrace - Spacious lounge/ dining area with fireplace & DVD - Private rental ski and boot-fitting service brought to your chalet - Complimentary minibus service to and from the ski-lifts
The Camelia is the next door neighbour to our Chalet Victoria. It has been thoughtfully designed and furnished by its artist owner, and guests here will enjoy the spacious living area with an attractive stone fireplace, comfortable sofas and a south-facing terrace.
Pine ceilings and exposed beams ensure a warm homely feeling while you enjoy the great mountain views, and all the bedrooms here offer en-suite facilities.
For fans of Méribel’s nightlife, the Camelia is just a 10 minute stroll or short hop on the ski-bus (which stops close to the chalet) from the lively village centre and some of the most famous après ski venues in the Alps. For ski access though, guests can enjoy the convenience of a complimentary minibus service in the morning and afternoons.
For your added convenience we can also arrange for a private rental ski and boot-fitting service to come direct to the Camelia. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | For six days of the week the chalet staff prepare all your meals, as described below. On their one day off, they will prepare a Continental-style breakfast for you to help yourselves, and that evening you can eat out in one of the local restaurants.
Breakfast: Provided will be cereals, fresh fruit and juices, yoghurts, plentiful English tea and good filter coffee, local bread and croissants, cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. We also cook a hot dish of the day, individually served.
Afternoon Tea: The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you, ready for your return, every day except on the staff’s day off. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake and keeps hungry skiers happy until dinner is ready.
Dinner: A tasty and innovative, freshly cooked dinner will be prepared for you six nights per week by your chalet host - or by a qualified chef in larger chalets - and served with a choice of wines. Wine is unlimited during the meal service.
Our four-course adult only dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert and coffee with chocolates.
Most special dietary requirements can be catered for, but for certain requests (for e.g. vegan, gluten free diets, low fat/cholesterol meals) there will be an additional charge. Vegetarian meals can always be served, at no extra charge, although we do need 14 days notice. You must notify us in writing at the time of booking of any dietary requirements so that the catering can be planned accordingly.
Children and High Tea: This chalet does not allow children (under 13 years) to stay, unless you have booked the whole chalet for your exclusive use, it is a peak holiday week or this has been agreed in writing prior to booking. If this is the case, the following applies:
Children’s High Tea is provided at 5.30pm as the main evening meal, and is tailored more towards children’s normal tastes than our adult-only dinner menu, and includes plentiful soft drinks. Children under 13 are not permitted to join the adult dinner unless you have booked this chalet for your exclusive use, when the choice of dining separately or together is entirely up to you - please let us know at the time of booking. For children receiving a child discount, there is a £39 supplement to upgrade from child meals to the adult menu. |
